Monday was a day of upping the quality of a reading/talking and journal writing in reading workshop. Remember that we aim to finish the book before November 2nd as we start a new literature circle group on November 3rd.
Today we discussed dragons in fantasy literature, both real and metaphorical.
In social studies, we are all working on our artifact projects to answer the question: What can studying this artifact tell me about life in early colonial America?
Tomorrow we will finish projects and post.
Ms. Lamb is checking journal homework and noticing some of us are not doing it. Students are expected to produce a journal entry Monday through Friday. There is a daily prompt - take it or change it.
